Woods from My Bulldogges in North Carolina / USA
started the re-creation of a better,
healthier and more athletic Bulldog back in 1988.
Carlos Woods is also the founder of VBA
(Victorian
Bulldogge
Assosoation)
The 6 generation of Olde Victorian
Bulldogges was born in the summer of 2004.
In
march 2006 there was only 20 VBA
Olde Victorian Bulldogges
registrated in Denmark,
all imported or sold by Virup
Bulldogges.
Overall
Impressions
Well build
heavy dog in all proportions, with short squared body and strong bones.
Very powerful, firm and compact muscle structure.
The dog is very athletic, flexible and not bothered by
it's size despite it's muscle build.
All in all perfect in
it's build. Olde
Victorian Bulldogges
has no breathing problems.
The females
are not as voluptuous and big build as the males.
The females
are able to give natural birth to their pups.
Temperament
/ Personality
Olde
Victorian Bulldogges possesses a great charm and
are a friendly and peaceful dog/breed.
The dog is extraordinary devoted and wonderful to it’s family and loves
kids.
Olde
Victorian Bulldogges are very easygoing and
cheerful, always happy to play.
It's looks encourage respect, gives the impression of strength and energy,
but at the same time a gentle and sweet look.
Fearless, when it is necessary, does only a very little barking.
It is very confident of it's own strength.
Living
Environment
Requires at least an average sized yard. This
breed enjoys running free in a safe enclosed space,
however they are fairly
inactive indoors.
Exercise
The Olde Victorian
Bulldog do very well with exercise as an adult, some even demand good exercise
and some would love a good run, all depending off his build and temperament.
Due to his bone structure, he should not be over exercised as a puppie.
Colors
He can be
in combinations of white, brindle, red-brindle, black-brindle, black, fawn,
red, or tan.
Coat
He has a
short, thick and shiny coat.
The coat should be brushed regularly and bathed only when necessary.
Size
Males:
Height - 18-20 inches (46-50 cm.) Weight - 65-100 pounds
(29-45 kg.)
Females: Height - 17.5-19 inches (44-48 cm.) Weight -
55-85 pounds (25-38 kg.)
Build
One of the
things that gives Olde
Victorian Bulldogges it's exceptionable look is
his head that is big,
heavy and massive but very proportional to the body.
The body is
massive with a wide front, deep breast and muscular.
Slight
under bite and born with a short or middle long tail.

registrated in
VBA (Victorian
Bulldogge Association ®™)

registration You can bee sure that the dog has been breed by a
VBA registered kennel.
